Starkey Omega AI: More than a hearing aid
Omega AI is Starkey’s newest range, offered here in technology levels 24, 20 and 16. Starkey has long positioned its hearing aids as more than hearing devices, and Omega AI continues that: alongside the sound processing you get motion sensors for activity tracking and fall detection, and a rechargeable battery Starkey rates for well over a day.
DNN 360 on the G3 Neuro Processor
At the heart of Omega AI is Starkey’s G3 Neuro Processor running DNN 360 — a deep neural network that works on sound from all around you, not just from the front. Directionality adapts automatically, so the hearing aids can favour the voices that matter as you move from a quiet kitchen to a busy shop.
Battery life that outlasts your day
Starkey quotes up to 51 hours on a single charge for the RIC RT rechargeable style — the longest figure among the hearing aids we offer — and about 31 hours for the smaller mini RIC R, with fast charging for a quick top-up. Streaming and noisy places shorten any hearing aid’s runtime, but a day and a half of headroom means you’re unlikely to run out before bed.
Health features built in
Built-in sensors let Omega AI track activity and detect falls. If a fall is detected, the hearing aids can alert contacts you choose through the companion app — reassuring for people who live alone, and for their families. A two-colour LED shows power and Bluetooth status, and Find My Hearing Aid helps you track down one you’ve put down somewhere.
Tough enough for everyday life
An IP68 rating means Omega AI is sealed against dust and protected against water — sweat, rain and humidity included. It isn’t for swimming, but it suits active people and warm Florida days.
Connected, and ready for Auracast
Omega AI supports Bluetooth LE Audio and is Auracast-ready, so it’s set up for the new generation of wireless audio, including public broadcasts in venues that adopt Auracast. A telecoil is available in some configurations.
