Widex Allure: The hearing aid built around natural sound
Allure is Widex’s newest family, launched in 2025 and offered here in technology levels 440 and 330 and in ten colors. Widex has always sold itself on sound quality first, and Allure doubles down: a new W1 chip, PureSound processing with its ZeroDelay technology, and a Speech Enhancer Pro that softens noise without cutting you off from the room.
PureSound and ZeroDelay
Most hearing aids take a few milliseconds to process sound, and the tiny delay between the sound reaching your ear directly and the processed version from the hearing aid can make voices — and your own voice — sound hollow or tinny. Widex’s ZeroDelay technology processes sound in a fraction of a millisecond, so the two versions line up. The result, which Widex calls PureSound, is the natural, open sound that first-time wearers and musicians tend to prefer.
Speech Enhancer Pro
Allure’s noise management softens unwanted sound and lifts speech while keeping you aware of what’s around you, rather than sealing you into a narrow beam. An enhanced sound classifier — eleven sound classes on the 440, eight on the 330 — recognizes the situation you’re in and adjusts automatically, with a new beat detector that spots music.
The W1 chip
Widex describes the W1 as its fastest chip ever. It is what makes ZeroDelay possible, and it runs a dynamic feedback controller that adapts to the shape of your ear canal to stop whistling, plus a dedicated streaming compressor that keeps music and podcasts at a steady volume.
Bluetooth, LE Audio and the Allure app
Allure streams directly from iPhone (Made for iPhone) and from many Android phones (ASHA), with hands-free calling on iPhone. Bluetooth LE Audio is built in, and Widex has said Auracast and hands-free calling on compatible Android phones will arrive with a firmware update. The Widex Allure app adjusts volume, programs, bass, mid and treble, and its AI Quick Assistant and Sound Assistant suggest settings for the situation you’re in. It also finds misplaced hearing aids, and works from an Apple Watch.
Battery and charging
Widex rates Allure at 25 hours a day with seven hours of streaming — and 35 hours or more if you don’t stream. A full charge takes about four hours; thirty minutes in the charger gives about four hours of use. The optional Charge n Clean charger dries and sanitizes the hearing aids overnight, and a portable charger with a built-in power bank is available for travel.
Is it right for you — and which level?
Choose Allure if sound quality and a natural, open feel matter most to you — especially if you’re new to hearing aids or you play or love music. The 440 brings the full set: fifteen channels, five programs and the eleven-class sound classifier, which suits busy and varied days. The 330 keeps the same PureSound, Speech Enhancer Pro and wind management with twelve channels and four programs, for less. Allure is not CROS-compatible; if you have hearing in one ear only, ask us about alternatives.
Every Allure from this page includes five in-person visits at a partner clinic in your first year — fitting, fine-tuning and servicing, face to face.
